BioWare is pulling out all of the DLC stops, for sure. Barely a week after announcing a Mass Effect 2 DLC that will tackle a major plot point, the newest Dragon Age: Origins DLC pack is announced, and it promises to tie up one of the most tantalizing sub-plots of the whole game.
Without getting too spoiler-ific, after the Arch-Demon is defeated, the witch Morrigan (pictured) up and leaves without explanation, saying only "Don’t follow me." Being the stubborn gamers that we are "or the horny, love-lorn heroes that chose her as a mate), of course we’re going to follow her, which is where the new DLC pack comes in. BioWare is promising that the add-on, titled Witch Hunt, will bring full closure to the story of Morrigan and her secrets. However, BioWare has a stern warning for those who will download this: "But whether you seek answers, revenge, or reconciliation with your lost love, you may find more than you bargained for."
Witch Hunt will be available September 7th (same day as Mass Effect 2‘s DLC!) for 560 BioWare/XBLA points or $7 on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
