It’s not a horror game, the development team at Airtight Games tells us of Murdered: Soul Suspect. This Square-Enix-published neo-adventure title is what the studio is calling a supernatural detective thriller.
No matter what you call it, Murdered stood out as unique among the digital fare at E3 2013. The game follows the story of specter Ronan after his own grisly murder in the streets of Salem, Massachusetts. As a former detective, and with the new abilities and impairments that come along with being a ghost in the drift, Ronan’s goal, then, becomes solving the case surrounding his untimely death.
The team at Airtight Games has produced a lengthy video demonstrating the game as media saw it during this year’s E3. Watch below for a full preview of what to expect from Murdered: Soul Suspect when it arrives in early 2014 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
