With the Nintendo Wii press event over, more juicy tidbits of the console have been revealed. Nintendo President of America Reggie Fils-Aime announced that 4 million Wii units would be shipped globally by the end of 2006, with the main bulk of the shipment coming to North America. So far, each unit will include one Wii remote (additional remotes cost $39.99), a nunchaku remote (additional nunchaku remotes cost $19.99), the console and Wii Sports.
The 25 Wii launch games include The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Excite Truck, Call of Duty 3, Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam, Trauma Center: Second Opinion, Need for Speed: Cabron, Madden ’07, Elebits, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, Rayman: Raving Rabbids, and Splinter Cell: Double Agent.
