Portal 2 came out last week and the follow-up to the 2007 surprise hit has been receiving rave reviews. Those eagerly awaiting more content for the game won’t have to wait too long.
Doug Lombardi, VP of marketing at Valve, revealed in a recent interview that his company has plans to release more DLC for Portal 2 at some point during the summer.
"We will be announcing some DLC for it, so folks can keep a look out for more content coming this summer," he said. "We’ll be putting more details out about that in a week or so. We’ll support that with more videos or more comics."
There was no mention of any specific details on the content, but hopefully the DLC will be more meaningful than the co-op bot skins and gestures currently available through the PC and Mac versions’ in-game stores. Something like more co-op missions would be a particularly great addition.
