More Infinity Ward employees ditch studio

Activision loses more of the studio's top employees.

Jason West and Vince Zampella are finding themselves in more common company. Kotaku has reported that four more Infinity Ward employees have left the studio following the ongoing fallout after the huge success of Modern Warfare 2.

According to "sources close to the studio" two of Infinity Ward’s lead designers for Modern Warfare 2, Steve Fukuda and Zied Reike, are said to have left the developer. The two have been with the studio since its formation in 2002.

The other two employees that have left today were programmer Rayme Vinson and lead artist Chris Cherubini. Cherubni confirmed to Kotaku via e-mail that he resigned today.

This is the second report in two days of Infinity Ward employees leaving the studio. Veteran programmer Jon Shiring and designer Mackey McCandlish resigned yesterday, the same day that West and Zampella announced the formation of their new Respawn Entertainment studio.

Currently, there are no indications that everyone who has left will jump to Respawn Entertainment. The current tally now brings the total amount of Infinity Ward employees that have left after reports of low morale and lack of royalties to nine.
