Capcom has announced they will be adding Marvel’s psychic entity, Phoenix, and Final Fight’s wrestler-turned-mayor, Mike Haggar, to the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 line up.
The addition of the two new characters gives an overall total of 34 fighters in the upcoming game. Capcom released two new videos of the characters, which also reveal a new stage. The stage looks like a run-down metropolis, possibly being Haggar’s hometown, Metro City.
From the looks of the videos, Haggar will be more of a grapple fighter with some melee attacks, rivaling the style of Zangief. Meanwhile, Phoenix displays a variety of moves that seem pretty balanced. Anyone who knows Marvel, knows there is potential for her to be a broken character.
