In what is most likely an effort to curtail the warranty-seeking efforts of Xbox openers everywhere, it appears that Microsoft will be adding a new warranty sticker to repaired Xbox 360s, and possibly future retail versions of the console.
As of this time, the new seal has only been reported by a handful of European 360 owners, but it is quite possible that these fancy-shmancy stickers will be making their way onto repaired consoles in all regions in the near future, and maybe even brand new systems, as well.
This new paper seal replaces the simple silver foil sticker found on most of the Xbox 360s currently in the wild. It seems much more difficult to remove and replace, thus (hopefully for MS) detering consumers from opening up the unit before sending it in with a warranty claim.
