Since last year’s E3 trailer, pickins have been slim for information regarding Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The biggest news update thus far came a couple of days ago, when the Japan-based publisher announced the return of the incredible voice actors that have been with the series since its PS1 days.
David Hayter returns to voice Snake, supported by Quinton Flynn as Raiden, Paul Eiding as Roy Campbell, Christopher Randolph as Hal Emmerich (Otacon), and Debbie Mae West as Meryl Campbell. The series has always shined in the VO department, and MGS4 is sure to follow suit.
This may not seem like a huge announcement, as most gamers have likely taken the cast’s return for granted. But imagine what it would be like if Hayter and the gang weren’t on board this time around. Now I’d bet you’re glad they are.
