One day after announcing that Max Payne 3 will be releasing in March 2012, Rockstar Games has unveiled an official poster for the former New York City cop’s trials in South America and has informed the world that the game’s first trailer will arrive next week.
The trailer will debut on the Rockstar website on Wednesday, September 14 at Noon EST. Rockstar would not say what about the game the trailer would entail.
As for the poster, which can be seen clipped above and in full below, it shows a bloodied and bandaged Max wiping his mouth with alcoholic beverage in one hand and pistol in the other. The woman being held hostage by a gunman could be either Fabianna Branco, the wife of the man who’s family Payne is being paid to protect, or Giovanna, Fabianna’s sister. At the bottom of the poster appears to be the skyline of Sao Paulo, Brazil, the game’s setting.
Max Payne 3 will release for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Be sure to check back with GamerNode next Wednesday when the trailer releases.
