Mass Effect 3′s new multiplayer DLC brings the carnage back to Earth in this new free pack, including six character classes, three weapons, and three locations set on reaper-occupied Earth, as well as a new Platinum difficulty.
Mass Effect 3 “Earth” DLC will bring the N7’s finest operatives to players worldwide when it launches across all platforms on July 17, though European PS3 players will have to wait one extra day.
The BioWare press release details the new classes as “Destroyer Soldier, Paladin Sentinel, Demolisher Engineer, Slayer Vanguard, Shadow Infiltrator, and Fury Adept,” and promises new, unique powers for all of them. They will be shuffled into existing item packs.
The new maps on offer are Firebase Rio, Firebase Vancouver, and Firebase London, with the new weapons being the Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon assault rifle.
Free DLC is always appreciated. A new difficulty is going to be insane, though. My maxed out Geth Infiltrator struggles enough as it is on Gold already. Perhaps it’s time to start saving up credits.
