I just got an email from NCSoft saying that next week, they’ll roll out "Chunk #1", the first in a series of planned major updates to their free-to-play MMORPG Dungeon Runners. Among the usual additions to quests, items and five new skills, the update will also include several changes that I’ve personally been waiting for.
One of which is multiple characters support; since launch, every account only allowed one character, but with this update, you can have up to three, which spells good news for players who want to experiment with more characters. Also, for you PvP fanatics, the update will include specific worlds for PvP, where you can either fight within a group or do some group versus group deathmatch.
Other additions include item linking in chat, which is very handy for showcasing all the items that drop in the game and polished character animations and lag-free movement. Lastly, there will be new dungeons for high level characters. The update will go to the private test servers tomorrow and should go live sometime next week.
