Activision left fans everywhere with months of hopeful dreams after showing off Call of Duty 4 at the Microsoft’s E3 keynote speech. So naturally, the CoD 4 beta has people going crazy to get their greasy mitts on it. Sadly, the beta is limited (much like the Halo 3 beta was) and those who are left out aren’t very happy.
Several reports have been circulating recently concerning mass bans over Xbox Live. These rumored reports believe that Xbox has banned tens of thousands of accounts for violating the Xbox Live Terms of Use over the Call of Duty 4 beta. Apparently people are sharing their accounts to spread the CoD 4 goodness around.
Major Nelson did a little snooping around the office and uncovered the truth stating "We did NOT ban tens of thousands of folks yesterday as some are reporting." Well with all that cleared up, it’s back to finding out how I can get my hands on that CoD4 beta…legally of course!
