Sony is struggling to hang on to the quickly diminishing number of exclusives available for the PS3 as if its very life depended on it, and some game industry observers would say that it does. In spite of this overall feeling about the importance of exclusive PS3 titles, some gamers have voiced their opinions through one of Japan’s leading game publications, Famitsu, about the exclusive titles they would like to see go multi-platform, according to a report on QJ.net.
Famitsu polled gamers and asked the question, "What exclusive game would you like to go multiplatform?" According to the poll results, Final Fantasy XIII came in first. Gamers in Japan believed that the title would play to a wider gaming audience if also released on the Xbox 360.
With other game companies abandoning the process of developing titles exclusively for the PS3, it wouldn’t be out of the question to think that the execs at Square Enix are having trouble sleeping while they try to figure out if they should stick with Sony or go the way of multiplatform for FFXIII.
