Ice Cool is a 2-4 player dexterity game from Brain Games and designer Alex Gomez. It recently won the Kinderspiel des Jahres award for 2016 releases, and we think it’s a fine game and worthy winner, especially in its board gaming genres/categories.
Though it doesn’t boast great depth of strategic mechanisms, it does provide interesting variety in terms of its physics, which is perhaps more important for this type of game.
Ice Cool at its best with four players, declining with player count. We recommend checking it out for some lighthearted flicking fun, and would bump this rating to a 4 if strictly considering family or dexterity games.
