Kaz Hirai, President of Sony, defended the PS3’s Blu-ray DVD last year by saying, "…you just can’t expect that 9GBs of storage capacity found on today’s DVDs are going to have enough space to hold tomorrow’s games."
Kaz may have been right. German website xbox360only.com is speculating that Halo 3 may arrive in multiple game discs instead of one.
A quick look at photos of the Halo 3 preliminary packaging shows that there is a Game Disc One and Two in the box plus the third bonus disc. Up till now, everyone has been quite familiar with the Halo 3 multiplayer beta, but hardly a peep is known about the single player mode.
Could it be that the SC and MP games will be offered on two separate discs because of data media constraints?
Nothing is certain for now, but if H3 does come out in a two disc game set, Kaz may have had the last laugh on this.
