$130 seems a bit pricy for a video game don’t you think? I already feel like they’re taking an arm and a leg when I drop $60 bucks.
Well maybe I’m alone in that thought, because the $130 Legendary Edition of Halo 3 is on track to sell out by next week’s launch. This is all confirmed was confirmed by a Microsoft spokesperson who made the statement to Gameindustry.biz.
So what do you get for the $130? A replica helmet case of the Spartan Mjolnir Marc VI Helmet case for the three disk set, which includes the game and two full disks of extra content. Sounds like a gimmicky scam to me. I’d much rather have a life size helmet come with the thing if you ask me.
Then again, one of the Legendary Edition buyers is probably going to be the same guy who wins the $6000 Master Chief suit bid.
