Target, RedOctane and Activision have announced that a special bundle will come with Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
The nifty bundle will offer two customizable guitar controllers with all sorts of stickers and guitar straps to pimp up your instrument. (Don’t forget, you’ll have to get your own mullet.)
The price for all of you aspiring rock stars is going to be $109.99. The package will be released for your rocking pleasure on October 28th.
Troy Peterson, Senior Buyer at Target stores said, "Guitar Hero isn’t just a game, it’s a social and cultural phenomenon. Our exclusive bundle gives fans a chance to hit the ground running right out of the box with two guitars and lets players take advantage of the new multiplayer features in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock."
This new GH III bundle should put some pressure on EA’s competing Rock Band as far as pricing is concerned. Rock Band will retail for $169.99 initially, with all the band instruments, whether you want them all or not. Starting in 2008, the music controllers can be bought seperately for those who have skinny wallets and purses.
