Guerrilla Games Gobbled Up

Sony announced early this month that it had purchased Guerrilla Games, the developer of the Killzone FPS series. While financial details were not disclosed, the companies shared a very close working relationship following the signing of an exclusivity contract in Spring 2004. In the announcement, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios president Phil Harrison said Guerilla Games has a “great combination of creative, technical and production talent in their team and we have enjoyed a close working relationship with their management and staff for a number of years.” The latest installment of the Killzone series is currently in development for PlayStation 3 by Guerrilla Games.
