We all know that Gran Turismo 5 has been hit with numerous delays throughout the years, but the new release date for the game is now November 24th (seriously). That means in less than two weeks we’ll be living in a post-Gran Turismo 5 world!
Kazunori Yamauchi, President of Polyphony Digital Inc., apologized in light of the new release date, but hopes fans will still enjoy the game.
"I can only apologize to everyone for making you wait so long, and I hope that when you try out the wealth of driving experiences available in Gran Turismo 5, you will not be disappointed."
Sony originally announced a November 2nd release date but that was pushed back "to adjust it so it would be perfect," according to Yamauchi in a recent interview. A three week delay isn’t too bad given the game’s history, so soon we will be able to find out if five years of development was really worth it.
