Guitar Hero 3 fans beware when walking into Wal-Mart. It has been reported that Wal-Mart is selling Guitar Hero 3 bundles which include the old models of guitars as opposed to the amazing new Les Pauls and Kramer models.
The two models which have been seen as opposed to the Les Pauls are the Xbox 360 Xplorer Guitars as well as the PS2 Red SG. As a precaution make sure you check the packaging to be sure the new guitars are included.
Why Wal-Mart is deceiving its customers is unknown. One could argue they are trying to clear out all the old guitar models through these altered bundles. But Wal-Mart should know that the gaming community is not a stupid group of consumerists.
They don’t fall for stuff like this. One has to wonder if RedOctane or Neversoft had any say in Wal-Mart’s distribution decision.
