Gears of War heading to PC; wait, don’t roll your eyes yet! I know we’ve heard it before but apparently this time around, the news is completely solid.
Earlier today, footage of Gears of War for the PC was leaked and after getting pulled, it eventually found its way on various video sites — hooray to the Internet!
The clip showcased visual improvements, additional content (new boss fights and new maps) and achievements not shown on its Xbox 360 counterpart. With the appearance of achievements, Gears of War for the PC will utilize the Games for Windows – LIVE service.
Well, we do know that Gears of War will eventually head to the PC but the word is that the official announcement will be made at this year’s E3, which will take place next week. Hopefully, eager PC fans won’t have to shell out $$ and hardware upgrades for Vista just to play Gears of War, especially since Games for Windows – LIVE can run on Windows XP.
