Modern Warfare 2’s first DLC map pack was plagued with numerous issues when it was released, but early adopters are being rewarded for their troubles and loyalty. Xbox Live’s Major Nelson a.k.a Larry Hyrb announced that buyers who purchased the map pack on the day of release will be given a free week of Xbox Live. He noted to "Check your Live messages" to redeem your reward.
That’s definitely a nice stimulus for early adopters, if not a minor one.
