The official Summer of Xbox Live Arcade campaign may have ended, but that doesn,t mean Microsoft is letting up on its release of Arcade titles each Wednesday. Even though August 16 went without any real release (some new Cloning Clyde pictures… whoo!), Microsoft is looking to make amends next Wednesday when they release Texas Hold ‘Em – for free.
There,s no catch, either; download the title from the Xbox Live Marketplace within the first 48 hours of its release (either August 23 or 24) and you,ll have the full game unlocked for free. Following these dates, however, the game will revert to the style of all other Arcade games, with a demo available alongside the full game, which sells for 800 Microsoft Points.
Hold ‘Em supports up to eight player games over Xbox Live, three different game modes (Standard, Scenarios and Tournaments), achievements, leaderboards, and high-def graphics–I personally can,t wait to see the crisp, high definition corners of my hand.
