In a press conference yesterday, Namco revealed a total of four new additions to its Tales franchise for a variety of platforms.
The first of these is a port of the 2004 PS2 title, Tales of Rebirth. It is scheduled to arrive on Japanese PSPs in early 2008.
The rest of the games are original and semi-original projects. The Nintendo DS will be getting a brand new title this winter called Tales of Innocence, and the Wii and PS2 will each get games stemming from previous Tales entries. The Wii game will be based on Tales of Symphonia and the PS2 game will be based on Tales of Destiny.
Tales of Symphonia was originally released for the Gamecube in Japan in 2003. The original Playstation version of Tales of Destiny is now ten years old.
As of this report, there has been no word on US versions of any of these games, be we will keep our fingers crossed.
