Killzone 2 media has been scarce for quite awhile, but USA Today snagged the first screenshot for the upcoming PlayStation 3 FPS sequel.
Other than a 2008 release date and that the game takes place on the planet Helghan, not too many more details are really known about the game.
However, Sony’s Ron Eagle hints at some new gameplay features, "The Helghasts are able to harness the raw power of the weather against you. It makes for some unique game play."
Killzone developer Guerrilla Games will return to develop Killzone 2. Back in December ’05, they were acquired by Sony to exclusively developer PlayStation games.
In addition, Killzone will be playable online on the PlayStation Network.
