A trailer of the much-awaited Infinity Ward shooter, Modern Warfare 3, was debuted during the NBA Western Conference Finals last night.
After a series of leaks that outed the shooter prematurely, Infinity Ward’s communications boss, Rob Bowling, confirmed the airing of the trailer via his Twitter earlier that day.
The trailer begins with shots of war-torn America, the main stage for Modern Warfare 2, and then takes us to England, France and Germany, showing a grim yet action-packed “WW3” scenario.
It then ends with the voice over, “It doesn’t take the most powerful nation on earth to create the next global conflict. Just the will of a single man.” The voice confirms that the conflict Makarov started has spilled over and become the next world war.
This full trailer follows a live-action “Find Makarov” reveal video, released shortly after Activision moved to silence the unofficial leaks.
Modern Warfare 3 brings World War Three to your doorstep on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 8.
