At an investors meeting yesterday in Tokyo, Square Enix president Yoichi Wada told attendees that a 360 version of Final Fantasy Versus XIII is a possibility, and that his company is "looking into it." What Wada’s comments mean, exactly, is unclear.
Up until this point, Square Enix has referred to the hightly anticipated title as a PS3 exclusive. However, after impressive sales of the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII earlier this year, it only makes sense that continued support of games on the platform would be wise for both the developer and consumers. In any case, this news should result in some heated speculation amongst fans of the long-running series.
Personally, I think Lloyd from Dumb & Dumber said it best when he famously reasoned with his crush, Mary, "So you’re telling me there’s a chance…"
We can only hope so, Lloyd. We can only hope so.
