In Major Nelson’s most recent podcast, Treyarch’s Dan Bunting revealed the first map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops called "First Strike". The pack features four new maps and one new zombie level, and in addition to offering some locales from the single-player campaign, players will be fighting over the infamous symbol of the Iron Curtain – the Berlin Wall.
Here’s a breakdown of what to expect from the new content:
"Discovery – Antarctic German research station, abandoned from World War II.
Kowloon – Inspired from the single-player campaign based off of Kowloon city in China. It’s a rooftop map.
Stadium – Hockey rink in northeastern United States.
Berlin Wall – Takes place at Checkpoint Charlie. Is a battle between East and West Berlin.
Ascension – Zombie map."
The whole bundle will be available on Xbox LIVE on February 1st for 1200 Microsoft Points, or $15. Although it has yet to be announced, the map pack is almost certain to make its way to PC and PS3 in the following months as well.
