The Xbox Live video download service is rapidly becoming a dream come true for insomniacs across the globe. In past months, it has seen rapid growth by adding such comedy favorites as Reno 911 and Southpark to its stable of shows.
The newest one to be added to Xbox Live’s repertoire will be Family Guy.
Family Guy has emerged as a near unanimous favorite amongst 15-25 year old males, so it comes as little surprise that Microsoft would want to add it to the service.
The big question now is whether or not other Fox Network shows will be available for download in the future. It’s likely that the release of a single show (i.e. Family Guy) is akin to Fox dabbing their big toe in a wading pool…testing the waters.
I think we all know that The Simpsons would be a gold mine and who knows, maybe they’d actually be able to make some money on Firefly for once. They can keep Malcolm in the Middle and Sliders though…nobody wants to see those again.
