A single player demo for F.E.A.R. Extraction Point is now available on all major downloading sites. The demo clocks in at 552 MB, and features a level in a warehouse/office area, a new enemy and a new weapon, the mini-gun.
Extraction Point is being developed by TimeGate Studios, most famous for their RTS Kohan franchise, rather than Monolith Productions, the original developers of F.E.A.R. Like all expansion packs, this will require the original game to run. The game will feature new weapons, enemies and single and multiplayer content. The expansion takes place after the events of F.E.A.R., where you have to fight your way out of a destroyed city with the ever-scary Alma on your tracks. Extraction Point will be released on October 24th.
