During the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards, Bethesda Softworks gave gamers their first teasing glance at The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Today, that short glimpse has been expanded into a nearly three-minute-long trailer, complete with gameplay footage and all.
The game’s first official trailer shows Dragonborn, the game’s protagonist, as he flees from and is eventually forced to take on a full-fledged dragon. It then shows a plethora of environments, creatures, and action from the game in both a third- and first-person perspective.
Bethesda’s new graphics engine for Skyrim appears to be a vast improvement from that of Oblivion, which at its time of release was one of the most visually stunning games around.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 11.
