Nintendo showed a new trailer for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD during its E3 Nintendo Direct conference earlier today. The company also delivered a release window and detailed a handful of new features that will be exclusive to the HD re-imaging of the game.
The HD remake will include the ability to switch between different sailing speeds, allaying concerns some had about the amount of time Link has to spend sailing his boat across the Great Sea. The Nintendo Direct footage showed the King of Red Lions’ sail turning an orange, while picking up speed.
In addition the Tingle Tuner, originally used to allow a second player to help Link via a Game Boy Advance connected to the GameCube, will be replaced by the Tingle Bottle. The Tingle Bottle will allow players to post messages or pictographs taken in-game into the ocean for others to find in their game via the Miiverse.
Check out the new trailer below, and let that classic music wash up little nostalgic pebbles onto the shore of your memory.
