Back in May, an attachable keyboard for the Xbox 360 controller was revealed, but fans were left in the dust figuring out when they’ll be able to get their hands on it.
Never fear though, because during the ongoing E3-fest, Microsoft officially announced that the keyboard will make its retail debut on September 4th for $29.99.
The keyboard device will allow players to chat to other Xbox 360 and PC users through Live and will have backlit buttons.
In addition, the keyboard comes with an Xbox 360 Wired Headset too.
It definitely looks like the release of the keyboard is a response to the updates Microsoft rolled out for Windows Live Messenger back in April. Consider the success of Xbox Live and its chatting features, this was a no-brainer.
