No, seriously, are YOU ready?
Well, whether you are or not, Koei and Omega Force don’t quite care, because Dynasty Warriors 6 is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 simultaneously at a date that has yet to be determined.
Not many details have been disclosed at this time, but if any of the previous games in the series are any indication of what to expect, this list of what’s to come would probably look like this:
1) There will be hacking.
2) There will be slashing.
3) Improper pronunciation in naming the enemy warlords when discussing the game with a group of friends.
4) There will be hacking AND slashing. Lots of it, too.
5) Flashy moves that wipeout scores of opposing forces.
6) An enemy will be positioned in one spot and attempt to hit you every twenty seconds or so. Maybe he’s too frightened to attack? It’s okay, though. He’ll most likely have hundreds of clones that’ll behave the same exact way.
7) Heavy metal background tracks will inappropriately set the tone for the ancient warring nations.
In all seriousness, though, the game is looking quite nice from a visuals standpoint and the simplistic, yet fun gameplay remains intact judging from the trailer released on the official website.
