Most of you reading this article know about Crysis. It is one of the most eagerly anticipated titles of the year, and has already received honors such as the Game Critics Award for Best PC game of E3 2007. It will be one of the first major showcases of DirectX 10, and is expected to be one of the best games of 2007.
As GamerNode’s Billy Wang previously reported, a conference call with EA on August 1st revealed a November release window for the title, but no concrete date. Well, now it’s official – Crysis will hit store shelves in North America and Europe on November 16th.
Said Cevat Yerli, CEO and President of Crytek, "Crytek is constantly striving to push the boundaries of both game design and technology, while maintaining quality at the highest bar. We’re thankful to our fans for their support and patience, and we’re excited to bring them Crysis this year. It’s going to be worth the wait."
Said Eddie of GamerNode, "This game looks to be incredible, and I will most certainly be upgrading to a DX10 card in order to play it properly. Too bad that won’t be cheap."
