When I saw the $90 RE5 Collector's Edition price point, I was a little concerned. The only other limited edition at that price I could think of was Madden '09, and that came with three games. I knew we weren't getting three RE games, so what in Tyrant's name could they put in there to justify the $90?
Behold!

For $90, you get:
RE5 Game in Steelbook Casing
Bonus DVD in Steelbook Casing
BSAA Patch
Kijuju Necklace
Chris Redfield Figurine
Tri-Cell Messenger Bag
Instruction Manual
That's a whole lot of stuff, but how much of it will you actually use? Are you going to wear that necklace of Africa around? Sew that patch to your favorite Army jacket? Carry stuff around in the Tri-Cell bag instead of the Mirror's Edge runners's bag you may already have?
As cool as it is, it is a lot of stuff that most people might not end up actually using. However, it's all really freakin' cool at the same time.
Do what you want, don't let me influence you. Just make sure that A) you have $90 to spend on it and B) you're enough of a fan to get it even though you might not use everything in it.
Both of those apply to me, I'm shelling out the $90. I'm sure most RE nuts will too. But for those who are a bit interested in the game, don't shell out the big money if you're not too excited about the contents. If you just want the game, just get the game. You'll be glad you did.

Someones got an account at games press....
Games Press accounts. The heroin of games journalists. I love it.
I'd rather pay sixty quid for a character that can move AND shoot, though.
