Our latest Head 2 Head competition has been inspired by the release of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Almost everyone loves Nathan Drake, the witty fortune hunter who seeks out hidden valuables from mysteries in history. Since the release of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, the original game in the series, many have compared Drake to the man who is most well known for chasing down ancient relics of great value, Indiana Jones. So we here at GamerNode are going to let you all decide on just who is the better treasure hunter.
Nathan "Nate" Drake:

Occupation: Fortune Hunter
Motivation: Historical intrigue, thrill of the adventure

Not having any experience with the character of Nathan Drake at all, I think I can safely and objectively contest that Indiana Jones is the winner. Because, well, he's Indiana Jones. What exactly is Drake's total Nazi body count? That's what I thought...
It's close for me. Technically Nathan Drake does have a Nazi body count, it's just all the Nazis are dead already when he finds them. But his body count of militants and hired guns is much higher than any body count Indiana Jones has.
It comes down to the wire. Nate has better known relatives and love interests. But Indy's superior experience gives him the better sidekicks and finds, though Nate is catching up. They're even in motivation and profession. The edge would have to be given to Indy on the fact that the whip tops off his weapons.
So I say overall it's Indy. But give Nate Drake another game or two and that movie and he could very well surpass Doctor Jones.
