Times Online is reporting that former rally driving champion Colin McRae was killed in a helicopter crash, though his identity is unconfirmed at the moment. The report says that McRae, along with his five year-old son and two other passengers, were the only ones aboard and the helicopter went down just a half a mile from McRae’s home.
Strathclyde police released a statement saying, "Four people were onboard the helicopter. The bodies were found within the helicopter which is owned by Mr. Colin McRae of Jerviswood House, Lanark. It is believed he was onboard the helicopter."
