There are three sales you don’t want to miss in this week’s edition of Cheapskating. BestBuy.com offers a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” sale on video games priced $59.99 or less, with literally hundreds of titles to choose from (excludes PC, pre-owned, and pre-order games).
If you’re looking for discounts on upcoming games, NewEgg brought back its $12 off pre-order video games coupon this week. Unlike last week, the coupon threshold is $59.99. So not as many games qualify this week, but you’ll still find many attractive deals like next week’s release of Assassin’s Creed III or WWE ‘13 only $48.
On the PC front, Green Man Gaming is running a sale on the Men of War series games. Not only are they 65% off their list prices but you can stack additional savings with a 20%-off coupon code. The Men of War base game is only $4.20 this way vs. the $15 it usually goes for. As for expansions, you’ll find even better deals. Men of War: Assault Squad is only $9.80, which is $20 off the next best online price of $30.
