Cheapskating: Deals on DmC, RE6, BioShock, and more

There are four hot releases this week. DmC: Devil May Cry is out on the PS3 and Xbox 360. All online retailers have it for the full $59.99 list price, but Best Buy offers it in a combo deal with Resident Evil 6 for $9.99 extra. That’s $26 off buying the games separately. The BioShock Ultimate Rapture Edition released on Tuesday. The only discount is JR.com for $28.99, which is only $1 off the $29.99 list price. That said, Amazon is $33+ from 3rd party sellers and everywhere else online is sold out. Finally, Green Man Gaming has a 20% discount on the two new DLC packs released this week – Crusader Kings II: The Republic and Borderlands 2: Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt.

In addition to those four releases, there are plenty of other good deals to look at in this post. For starters, Borderlands 2 on Xbox 360 and PS3 is only $29.99 at Best Buy. With the exception of a few hours at $25 on Black Friday, that’s the lowest price ever seen. Gamefly has all 5 chapters of the Tales of Monkey Island series bundled for $11.89. That’s $23 off buying each separately for $35. Also notable is Origin’s sale on Battlefield 3 DLC packs. BF3 expansions are all $10 (33% off) while the shortcuts are as low as $2 (up to 71% off).
