A month ago, Capcom announced that several of its major titles that were looking at winter 2010 releases were going to be delayed into its 2010 fiscal year (April 1, 2010 – March 31, 2011). Today, the company announced that several of those delayed titles would only be pushed back a tad as Super Street Fighter IV, Lost Planet 2, Monster Hunter Tri, and Final Fight: Double Impact will all see release this spring.
The highly anticipated fighting sequel/follow-up of Street Fighter IV, Super Street Fighter IV will be hitting the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 27 in North America (April 30 in Europe). The game will feature new characters, including classic characters making returns, new online modes, and more.
The sequel to a promising third-person shooter, Lost Planet 2 will also be arriving on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 18 in North America and Europe. The game will feature new weapons, environments, and four-player co-op through Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.
The latest installment in the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Tri, will be available on the Wii in April while the dual-DLC Final Fight: Double Impact will release sometime this spring on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.
