Last month, Infinity Ward broke the heartbreaking news to European gamers hoping to enter the Call of Duty 4 beta that they wouldn’t be allowed to do so.
Well, it seems that the developer has had a change of heart, as the citizens of the following countries will be able to get in on the hot, modern warfare action: Canada, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that our fellow overseas gamers will be participating in the beta right away. Activision nor Infinity Ward have set a specific date when they can enter the fray, but with the game seeing a November release, it’d have to be sometime very soon.
However, if you’re an American gamer, at 12PM PST (9AM EST) you’ll be granted the opportunity to receive a token for the beta by logging onto CharlieOscarDelta.com and answering a few quick questions (three of them, to be exact) to determine your knowledge of the series itself.
If you don’t qualify this time around, don’t fret. Infinity Ward promises that there will be plenty of other chances to get in.
