March 7th is the date that will have die-hard car carnage junkies frothing at the mouth (where else can you froth from?,) when Burnout Revenge is let loose on the Xbox 360. You may be saying to yourself "Didn’t Burnout Revenge come out already on the current generation of consoles?" To which I say, stop talking to yourself, it’s creepy, and yes, Burnout Revenger did, in fact, come out last year. What sets this next-gen version apart from the current generation version are the updated car models, which will allow for players to commit auto assault in hi-def, as well as updated audio. Revenge also makes itself more appealing by placing more emphasis on the online arena. Another major difference with this version of the game is the price, coming in at a cool $59.99. But considering that Burnout Revenge puts the 360’s racing catalogue at 4 games, Electronic Arts shouldn’t have much of a problem in shipping units of an already successful game. Burnout Revenge is rated E10+ by the ESRB, because really, 10 years is the optimal age to teach children how to run cars off the road for boost upgrades.
