Seems more and more videogame companies are becoming the best places to work. If EA isn’t being listed as one of the top areas for college graduates, it’s Insomniac sitting comfortably on the list of best places to work in the US. Well there is now a third company, BioWare, which has broken into the top ten companies to work for in Canada.
The most impressive aspect about this accomplishment is that Bioware was pitted against all companies, not just the videogame industry. Ray Muzyka one of the co-founders for BioWare gave his own input as to why BioWare broke into the top ten.
"At BioWare, we have always valued our people, and one of our core values is to provide an environment that offers quality in the workplace and promotes creativity. This is why BioWare has attracted employees who come from all over the world."
BioWare being recognized is just another example in how the videogame industry is growing and maturing. Did anyone else think that ten years ago videogame companies would be some of the best places to work in the world? News like this can only mean good things for the months and years to come.
