If you’ve played Bioshock, it takes nothing more than the introduction to the underwater city of Rapture to tell you that the game screams cinematics.
Apparently, at least a few people in Hollywood agree, as a "reliable source within a major film production company" has said that a film version of the multi-award winning game is already in discussion.
If this project indeed gets off the ground, the studio will make use of green screen technology (300, anyone?) to illustrate Rapture and all of its gene-spliced inhabitants just as envisioned in the original work.
Being that Bioshock was my personal pick for 2007 GOTY, I would love to see a movie adaptation come to fruition. "Major film production company," would you kindly get to work on that?
