A gamer, going by the screen name of Kezins, lost a close friend in the Virginia Tech shootings. Kezins gave his heartfelt thanks to The Human Armed Forces, a KumaWar and Battlefield 2 clan, for putting together a memorial video honoring and remembering those who lost their lives in the tragedy.
The gamer put his feelings about VT in very honest terms:
"As some of you know, I was deeply affected by the tragedy that occurred here in Blacksburg, Virginia. I am starting to come to grips with what I saw that day, but still hurting from the loss of my great friend Ryan "Stack" Clark and the other wonderful people whose lives were snuffed out by a deranged individual. If Ryan were here he’d be finding ways to make us all smile and that’s what I have to do whenever I get the chance.
"I came across this video and it made me proud to be a gamer. So many in the world try to blame video games for violence, but this is a prime example of the kind nature of gamers that is often ignored. I appreciate what the Human Armed Forces Clan did here with this tribute."
