Those who weren’t able to attend E3, QuakeCon, and PAX Prime didn’t get to see the jaw-dropping, 20-minute gameplay demo of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, until now. Bethesda Softworks finally released the full demo in all its glory to the masses earlier today.
The video, separated into three parts, has Game Director Todd Howard walking viewers through the demo as captured on the Xbox 360. It includes a visit to the town of Riverwood, a dungeon sequence fighting bandits and spiders in Bleak Falls Barrow, and an encounter with giants and mammoths that turns into an epic struggle against not one, but two dragons.
Gameplay features shown off in the game included the ability to dual wield any and every weapon and spell in the game, Skyrim‘s new menu system, puzzle solving, NPC interaction, horseback riding, and the game’s new and incredibly powerful Words of Power, a.k.a. shouts.
The demo video can be viewed in its entirety below.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is rated M for Mature and will release on November 11, 2011 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
