Located on the BAFTA Video Games Awards website (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) are this year’s nominees.
Note the number of unreleased games on the list because these awards allow for companies to enter its games on an 18 month basis, so companies can include older games or unreleased games.
With that mind, folks might wonder where the heck Halo 3 is on the list. Despite hitting stores today, Microsoft decided to not include Halo 3 in this year’s nominees and opted to include the game in next year’s list.
Their reasoning is that Microsoft didn’t want to enter a half finished version of the game, which would only be nominated for just two categories.
