Reggie Fils-Aime announced on Spike TV,s Game Head program that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess continues through development without a solid release date. He also further stipulated that the game would release for the GameCube, and not the Revolution (Don,t you feel foolish for believing those forum rumors, now?).
This latest snafu in the development of the latest installment of Nintendo,s current flagship franchise could put Twilight Princess on shelves one year later than initially announced by Nintendo. The placement of the release in the fall, however, is being pounced upon by many news sites as an indication that the title will launch for GameCube alongside Nintendo,s next-gen Revolution console.
Another possibility: the title will launch independently of the Revolution, but alongside Sony,s PlayStation 3. If that is the case, Sony will have some tough launch week competition from Nintendo (and Microsoft, who would likely release Halo 3 on the PS3,s release day).
