All 360s on the market are now "improved"

360 measurementsXbox Group Marketing Manager, Aaron Greenberg, says that all current Xbox 360s are "improved," during a chat he had with Kotaku. So what exactly is he referring to? He doesn’t really specifically say what has improved so your guess is as good as ours.

One thing for sure, the mystery improvements probably address the "red ring of death" syndrome plaguing the 360 since its release. Microsoft has consistently maintained that the problem isn’t as widespread as reported.

However, in the real world, users have continued to argue that the issue is more frequent than officially acknowledged.

In regards to the improvements, Greenberg cryptically said, "We have made all the improvements in our manufacturing process… All the consoles on the market have those improvements…. [We will] repair [any] console sent to us with these improvements. It should be similar to buying a new console off the shelf."

Ok, so we know it’s better, but we don’t know why it’s better. So is that really better? Guess you’ll have to buy a new one or send in your old one to find out.
